2Step Outdoors founder Bob Fair loves his home region of northeastern Oklahoma because of having so many lakes nearby. He's an avid angler, fishing tournaments as well as spending quality time with his family on the water.
That’s how the Fishermans2Step was born. Bob was traveling to a tournament and hit upon the idea for an easier way to get in and out of the boat from the trailer. After much trial and error, the the products you find here were born. Since the introduction of the steps, even more applications have been discovered than just providing a means for getting in and out of the boat. For example, the steps also allow easy access to the winch for strapping down the bow of the boat on steep boat ramps before pulling out.
People of all age groups and in different stages of good to poor health have had a role in testing and contributing ideas to our step system. We’re confident you will find the results of our collective efforts, and this accessory, to be the perfect solution for enhancing your boating pleasure and safety.
Lastly, we are proud to say that we are in patent-pending status with our step designs, and that we do have additional products in mind for down the road.
