Tools Required:
• 9/16 wrench, 9/16 socket
• Ratchet
• 3/4 wrench, 3/4 socket
• Phillips Head screwdriver
• 6 inch C clamp (not required, but helpful)
Step 1:
Insert the mounting bolts through the top side of the base plate at all four locations.

|
Step 2:
Place your step assembly on the trailer tongue and select your mounting location.

|
Step 3:
With the assembly at the desired location install the lower bolting plate under the trailer tongue and lift upward allowing bolts to pass through.
Note: If you have a C Clamp available, use it to hold together for easier installation.

|
Step 4:
Thread the nuts onto the mounting bolts and begin to tighten. To ensure proper tightening, keep the lower bolting plate up firm against the underside of the trailer until all four bolts are snug.
Note: Due to vibration, periodically check the tightness of all mounting hardware and re-tighten as needed.

|
Step 5:
Finish tightening the mounting bolts by following an X pattern.

|
Step 6:
Slide your grab handle pole down on the mounting post with the mirror tab facing toward the tow vehicle. Pin grab handle in place.

|
Step 7:
Attach the mirror mount bracket to the back of the mirror then bolt onto the mirror mount tab.

|
Step 8:
To adjust the mirror, hook tow vehicle to the trailer and adjust so you can see your trailer hitch and trailer coupler when looking in your rear view mirror. Once set, tighten the three screws on the back of mirror.
